Default Compaq Cooler

My son has just solved the problematic Compaq cooling system that bugs most Compaq users.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem

That will be solved when he has worked out how to get the fan 'inside' the lappy case.

That's my fault, I just put the pic up as it came in the email - (edited to a better size)

That's their own fault, it's about time they updated.

It really has stopped it crashing when it is under load like when using Killdisk.

Thats the curse of laps and nets.
Often its found by makers that in order to keep size down that theirs no choice but to walk a thin line between this issue and dust magnet.
Luckly additional more refined cooling kits are availiable sadly not for free.

I did post the pic as 'tongue in cheek', but it is a serious matter and something that bugs a lot of owners/users.

It shows either bad design which they don't care about, or lack of testing in the design stage. This really shouldn't happen. They know that AMD chips produce a lot more heat than Intel so should have taken that into account.

It should be fully usable as is and not have to buy extras for it to make it more reliable.
