Although F-Secure has an excellent reputation, readers need to realize that it is still "beta" software. From the website:

"The final support for Vista in F-Secure consumer products is targeted for electronic availability in May 2007"

Also note that64-bit Vista editions are currently not supported by F-Secure.

Your number 2 is my number 1! Can you buy the full Vista version now? I've got Home Prem and would love it. Someone once said we should have Microsoft protection for Microsoft-based products. I completely agree and was blown away with the Beta version of the scanner

Update to my last: I found and bought the OneCare full safety scanner and have been using it for nearly four months. I have never had an A/V software that explained the reasoning behind what it was watching. There was an infobox that came up on my screen, telling me where to go and read about the latest security update online which, when read about, I found that it definitely needed installing. Both thumbs up to Microsoft for this excellent product and thanks for the advice!
