Try this program for Vista 64bit or 32bit. I am using vista ultimate 64bit and have no problems at all.It is called 360desktop at ( 360desktop.com ). It make use of two monitors to widen your screen and you can scroll the screen left or right. It also widens just one screen if you only have one monitor. IT IS ALSO FREE! Give it a bash and have fun.
