Help Chat Room not Loading

Hi,

Recently purchased Sony Vaio VGN-FE41Z Laptop Vista pre-installed had all sorts of bother and was advised to clean reinstall by Vaio support. everything went well but now unable to access chat room (orange) - it would appear that the Java control is/will not load ....

Orange helpline is frankly UNHELPFUL

MSN messenger OK on other hand - any folks out there experiencing similar problems ???

Any help assistance would be greatfully appreciated

Yeah I had this problem, had to download the new java app from sun micro systems

The site prompted me to do this automatically if it doesn't do this for you then follow the link above and update the java runtime enviroment, this should then allow you to go on to the orange chatrooms, I still get a run error when i log on but if you just click ok/run it loads up fine.

link seems to be a bit big for the page!

probly better to do a search on google for sun micro systems and look for the update in the downloads section under top downloads, java runtime environment 6 update
